“The game is one for the romantics,” Robins said this week “because of the journeys both clubs have been on.”įor Luton, it would be the culmination of a wild ride which saw the team drop out of the Football League - the three divisions below the Premier League - in 2009 following a 30-point deduction for financial misconduct.Īt Coventry, Robins rebuilt the playing squad, helped hire a chief executive, arranged to have improved training facilities and attempted to rediscover the bond between players and fans through various community programs. It’s the world’s most lucrative one-off soccer match - worth at least $210 million to the winner in future earnings - and a game neither team could have expected to be in when they were playing each other in England’s fourth tier five years ago. On Saturday, Coventry takes on Luton in the Championship playoff final at Wembley Stadium for a place in the Premier League. Price: $129.Mark Robins will always be remembered as the guy who likely saved Alex Ferguson from getting fired three years into his storied tenure as Manchester United manager.Īnother one is taking place at Coventry City, a club where chaos has ruled for more than two decades but whose turbulent and troubled journey back to the Premier League is almost complete. There has been no rating attached to Chaos Legion as yet, but I'm assuming it will be slapped with a M15+ before it releases mid September. If you enjoyed their Devil May Cry franchise, Chaos Legion delivers an even bigger dose of gothic, hack-slash adventure. Minor flaws aside, this is another fine 3D action title from the creative minds at Capcom. This undoubtedly provides a cinematic view of the action, but often players are forced to defend themselves against an attacking enemy standing just out of camera shot. There are some issues with the camera, which pans, and rotates constantly. The architecture, the gloomy settings and the insect-like beasts have been superbly crafted. Graphically, Chaos Legion is eye-catching. The game_s dialogue can be a bit longwinded, another characteristic of Goth inspired titles, but with the sheer number of enemies and their endless frenzied assaults, you might be glad for a little downtime. As always, there is an involved plot to wade through in between hacking and slashing wildly at anything that moves. As players progress through the 15 levels, you will get to play as another character and earn power ups and enhancements for your legion, which you will need as the battles can get frantic later on. Or you can just let them loose to wipe out whoever is in the room.

The easy targeting system allows you to direct your posse of monsters to attack precise targets. Sieg can summon up the chaos legions, a crew of hostile spirits who eagerly take on nearby enemies, leaving your character to deal to any leftovers with a few languid swooshes of a sword.

He looks more like a hairdresser than a slayer of demons but he has a secret weapon to unleash when facing multiple opponents. Sieg is fairly typical of a Goth game lead. Not unlike Devil May Cry, recurrent battle scenes pit your character, Sieg Wahrheit, against an array of demonic creations.
